To start, you need a small bucket of hot water, a bar of saddle soap, a jug of oil or conditioner saddle, and two sponges. You can find a soft toothbrush useful for obtaining grain of the holes, or tools.
Place your saddle on a secure support. This can easily be made of wood, or you can buy a position in his chair tack shop.
Dampen the sponge and lather with soap first. Beginning in the seat, gently wipe the saddle with the sponge soap. You do not want to make your saddle wet, so be sure to wring most of the water from the sponge. Regularly rinse and add fresh soap.
You'll have to clean all surfaces of the skin. This means that both the finished surface and the bottom of each part of your chair. After each wash section with soap, rinse sponge and wipe away any excess skin soap. Use the toothbrush to remove any soap caught in the billet or holes in tools fantasy.

If you have metal brackets, remove the rubber treads and soak the pieces both metal and rubber in the water. Do not soak the leather – clean Saddle soap, just to clean the rest of the chair.
Be careful not to forget to clean the bottom of your seat. This may be one of the most dirty parts of your chair, particularly if your horse sweats a lot. The sweat can really damage leather, so it is very important to clean.
Once the chair is clean, wet sponge seconds to make it soft and flexible. Squeeze out excess water. Now wet the sponge with leather conditioner. Without a thick layer of oil on skin, clean the entire surface of your seat with leather conditioner. Everything should absorb into the skin. Any excess should be wiped up quickly, because it can discolor the skin. Sure temper oil and others may have been deleted.
Finally, having temper out of the water and scrub off any dirt with a brush of teeth. You do not need soap or oil in the stirrups, unless you have leather stirrups (which would not have plunged into the water first).
Place his saddle back together, making sure the parts are replaced has been successfully removed.
You can find products of rapid solution for cleaning course. While these are acceptable for situations in which only wants things sorted, or after every ride, which are not suitable for a thorough cleaning. Many leave residues which can filth in the runtime.
When selecting a type of oil, be aware that some oils, such as Neatsfoot Oil darkens the skin. Others as Lexol, it will not. Some oils can leave a residue on the seat, and could stain your pants. Talk to your local tack shop if you are in doubt about the best product for your needs.
