Is there a way to repair a stripped pedal mounted on a bicycle crank? Or do I have to replace the crank?

It is the right side of rod. I have tried to remove it, but I do not know how. I removed the cap and nut, but did not move. If only you can repair the pedal assembly that could somehow be easier. If the pedal assembly is removed, then you have to replace it. Even if the pedal is on the crank threads, any rapidly loosness will cause the pedal / crank with an error. You can buy cheap cranks only a moment's many shops and workshop will take old parts, and if you're not too demanding, which can provide one for you without too much trouble. The shop can check the crank arm size and type for you (there are different lengths and types of mounting rods) so it's better to just put it in a store. If a Store is not available, check the rod inside the print size here: common sizes are 170, 172.5 and 175. Likely be one of these numbers. Then check to see what kind of crank assembly having: if it is a "tapered shaft" type, the bottom bracket that is mounted crank in the square will be.
