How bike frames made of Carbon Fiber?
I build my own Fiber Road Bike carbyne am not sure how did I know that some people have done usisng a foam core, but how most consumers did frmes degree?
The first CF frame is composed of carbon tubes with aluminum lugs. Later, we used the CF shoes. Today, some still frames using carbon tubes with unions pipe made by wrapping carbon cloth around the joints, adding material where necessary to achieve greater strength. Many frames are now using "monocoque" construction, where many pieces of carbon cloth, cut with templates, are placed in a mold with epoxy resin. inflate air bladders on the inner surfaces to provide the pressure needed to compress the carbon against the mold, and baking. The perforated air bladders typically remain within the frame. This is a simplification the process. It is very labor intensive, hence why most of all carbon frames today, even very expensive frames, come from Asia.
