
Is there a difference between running and cycling form or are just two of cardio?
For example, if I take a week to run, but I drive all day of the cycle, when i re-run to me out of shape? although I've kept my cardio … im wondering because lately the weather hasn't been allowed to run with more intense outdoor (110 degrees is too hot for me) and hate tredmills, but I like all kinds of spin on
There are differences in cycling and running the way, although all cardio is a big part of both. The two activities use different muscles of the legs and the bike has less resistance (a bit like swimming). However, cycling is a great way to cross train. Many coaches and doctors recommend cycling to work on cardio when athletes have lower body injuries. If you take a week off running and do a spinning class should not be a problem. Like you said, it will keep up your cardio and burn lots of calories but when you start running again the legs can be a little pain because the muscles are not working. and 110 is a bit hot to run outside for me too:) Hope this helps. ~ Jess
