afraid of the dark?
How I can stop being afraid when I walk my dogs in the woods at night? no light of my flashlight, except the head and the Blair Witch, and just where I live in the woods!
The two smartest things to do was walk, either in a better lit area, or have a friend walk with you man. Some other tips would be to take a course in self defense, carry pepper spray in hand at all times (make sure it is not illegal in state), buy a brighter light, take your dog to "school" and teach the bark or growl in the command. Even small dogs can seem quite intimidating if looks like it could tear off the ankle.
