What shape is a black hole is that it is wrong to call this phenomenon a hole?
When we think of a black hole picture in our mind diminsional eye level two with a funnel-shaped hole. This limited veiw especially if a black hole is three-dimensional entity similar to our sun. In ancient times thought that the sun was really a great flood lamp like those used in Hollywood. (No doubt, some people actually still believe that the sun is a lamp large flood will be difficult to resist this question.) If you think that black holes exist as three dimensional entities attract / omnidirectional emitting matter, please share your veiw.
The original solutions to the equations of Einstein was the Schwarzschild geometry. It describes the geometry of space-time around a gravitating mass in another case in a vacuum. It Schwartzchild the solution is only half of the 'complete' solution (called solution Koszul). In that, there is a type of four dimensions of the hole that connects two flat spacetimes. So 'black hole' description is pretty accurate there. However, it is not known if the complete solution of Koszul really be possible in a real sitation participation of a collapsing star. Essentially, the "other half" Koszul solution were affected by the mass of the star before the collapse and do not develop later.
