Post Concussion Syndrome ?!?!?
I was in a car accident eight weeks ago when I got hit from behind and only me hit my head on the headrest. For the last six weeks, I experience random headaches and often (4-5 times a week). The light hurts my eyes more than usual, and I feel as bright lights bite. When the doctor asked me to follow a small flashlight in my eyes, I could hardly do so, and then looked for in places where the light was not, because everything looked so blurry. Sometimes I feel as if listening to a long beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep my ear. (When I looked up the symptoms, closes called "ringing in the ears", which I guess is the same?) Never fainted during the car accident. My doctor thinks it may have still had a concussion, and only told me to take Tylenol. The symptoms do not go, and I am one, so I adolescent should heal quickly. Do I have the post-concussion syndrome? How I can make it stop? (I am planning to return to the doctor.)
Not going to like this answer, but the time finally will help to resolve these symptoms. Your doctor may refer you to a neurologist who can be expected to start improving things now. Honestly, I'm doubtful that he / She would find anything and / or be able to deal effectively with something. Total time should help. PS I once had a hit in the back of the head of an accident. I I was terribly out of balance for 3-4 months later. Over time, resolve itself without treatment.
