2001 Volkswagen New Beetle need to know how to change a Rear Tail light?
I looked in the user manual and all he said was to take a dealer Volkswagen and the nearest one is over 3 hours I have the right bulb but you can find a way to get to replace the old ?!?!?!?!
Inside the hatch ACCESS PANEL IS AN OVAL LIGHT BEHIND EACH. Remove this reach in and find a button. TAKE IT OFF AND CAREFULLY PRY OUT all the light. Disconnect cables (JUST A PLUG) and take the light back where you can work to change the bulb. Any cleaner should have a replacement car. GOOD LUCK!
