What kind of saltwater sport fishing i can look for near Hilo Hawaii?
I have no boat and I have no money to go out in a letter despite that could be for a local to take me out for $ 100 or so. Hawaii fish I've never before and I have no idea what kind of sport fish are there. I am an experienced fisherman.
Get a place that helps you, or you may not catch anything. It's a joke with people watching the tourists catch no fish. Local need bait. And a lot of ground fish are vegetarians, so the balls of bread and corn or other bait works. Peers are good or sometimes dock places pleasure boats, when permit. If you can fish around the boat fishing areas where doc clean fish and dispose of items that can be very good with some huge fish. If you want fish to the shore to find a place where rocks and sand meets the surf nobody is or could incur severe local anger, and you do not want to do that. What can fuck? There are literally hundreds of species. There are places deep water is just few meters away from the coast at high tide and nothing could come in. Probably not Marlin or Tuna huge, but a surprising variety of species and sizes of fish, including sharks. It is not easy fishing from the coast due to catches of coral and its line if you get a fish in it is likely to cut quickly. It is better to get a higher perch where you can keep them out of it with the pressure up. Going out in a small boat and getting a child to fall and bust up some clams to attract a lot of reef fish is a good way to work. You break a clam come from all over and have a feeding frenzy that attracts the larger fish. That's a secret I've learned in Okinawa, and I know that works in Hawaii also because friends told me. I've been there in Hawaii, but it was not long in fishing. Exit after the big fish is not worth it if you ask me. Very few return with nothing. Fishing deep water bottom fish is better if you go, and much cheaper. Do not go fuck yourself in a little boat either, so many people leave carried out every year. There are streams that have to sea before you know it, then you can not return due to the current, and you pretty lonely up there and is a strong commitment to helping someone out. It's a big ocean out there condemned. Good luck!
