Do you think a flashing amber light in his backpack would be road legal in the UK.?
Last winter it was removed from the bike by a truck at the time I was using really bright red LED lights and reflective gear use. The atitude what I seem to see is that many motorists get not seem to give a dam about cyclists. My house is traveling a busy highway and I have notice Tractor with flashing amber light. Viewed from a great distance to have time react in a car. A cyclist with red lights, only a bike and do not receive the same reaction from the driver. So I'am looking at all options for lights tail, but the amber LED in my backpack seems like a good idea but do not know if the police will think it's a good idea. "Some smart alex will say the bike is not a tractor ".
Amber flashing lights have no meaning in law, so it would be nice. They are used in tractors, delivery trucks, and as in the establishment drivers attention to them – exactly what you want to. You still need your constant red and white lights at night, however – Which is the legal minimum.
